BLUE PEPPER

Cruising the US and British Virgin Islands year-round, BLUE PEPPER is built around a simple premise: five equal cabins, no compromise between them. Each of the five guest cabins is fitted with a queen-size bed, accommodating ten guests in total, and each has its own en-suite with stall shower, electric fresh-water flush and vanity. Air conditioning is individually controlled cabin by cabin — a detail that matters more than it sounds in the Caribbean, where one guest's ideal temperature is rarely another's. The layout means no one draws the short straw: there is no lesser cabin at the end of the corridor. Onboard life divides naturally between three spaces. The salon is genuinely spacious, an interior retreat when the afternoon sun turns insistent. The large aft deck handles the rest of the day — lounging between swims, alfresco dinners as the light drops over the anchorage. Above, the flybridge opens onto a full 360-degree view and is entirely covered by a shade awning, which makes it usable at midday rather than only at sunset. The Virgin Islands suit this kind of yacht well: short passages between anchorages, protected water, and a rhythm that rewards a boat you can actually live on rather than simply travel aboard.
