Sea Esta A catamaran built for the trade winds, Sea Esta spends her seasons between the U.S. and British Virgin Islands and the Leewards — a cruising ground of short hops, protected anchorages and reefs that reward a mask and fins more than a long passage plan. What sets her apart is the sheer amount of usable outdoor space. The flybridge seats ten under the breeze, the aft deck and salon flow into one another for the kind of day that drifts from breakfast to sundowners without anyone quite deciding where to sit, and the forward trampolines put you close enough to the water to feel the hulls working. It is sailing at its most direct, with none of the discomfort. Accommodation is for ten guests in five cabins, each with a queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and hanging wardrobe — a rare consistency that removes the usual negotiation over who gets which cabin. Two of them sit on the main deck and open onto their own semi-private patio, a layout detail that gives a couple the feel of a private corner of the yacht. The remaining cabins are set down in the hulls, well separated from one another. The crew handle the rhythm of the day quietly: where to anchor for the best snorkelling, when to move on, what to put on the table.
