Mathieu

Mathieu, founder of BellaYacht Charter

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.

My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.

MAHANA A 13.41-metre (44ft) catamaran from Fountaine Pajot, delivered in 2015 — a yard whose sailing multihulls have long been the benchmark for stability, shallow draught and easy living at anchor. On MAHANA, that translates into something very simple: the sea stays flat under you, and the day unfolds without ceremony. The Caribbean Leewards and Windwards are her home waters, and few platforms suit them better. A catamaran of this size slips into the anchorages the larger yachts have to admire from a distance — the sandy shelf off a deserted cay, the lee of an island where the water turns from indigo to glass. Mornings begin on the shaded aft cockpit with the trades already filling in; afternoons end wherever the chart looks most inviting. Accommodation is arranged across the hulls in the manner these yachts do best, with living space and cabins kept comfortably apart. Your BellaYacht advisor will confirm the exact cabin configuration for your dates. A crew of two runs her — close enough to read what you want before you ask, discreet enough to leave you to a quiet lunch on deck. It is a format that works particularly well for a family or two couples who want the islands at their own pace, without the formality of a larger programme.
