El Aleph — 39m Phinisi, Indonesia Built by hand in Serangan, Indonesia, in 2008, El Aleph belongs to a boatbuilding tradition that predates the modern shipyard by centuries. The Phinisi form is unmistakable: timber worked by eye and by hand, proportions drawn from generations of Indonesian sailing practice rather than from a drawing board. At 39 metres, she carries that heritage with real presence. A refit completed in 2025 reset her interiors without erasing what makes her distinctive. Lighter teak opens up the volumes, set against curated antiques and handwoven textures — a considered pairing of Indonesian craft and contemporary calm, rather than a decorative theme applied over the top. Accommodation is arranged across five cabins for up to eleven guests. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. Life aboard divides naturally between generous interior saloons and the open air. The main deck is the yacht's true centre of gravity: broad enough to spread out through the afternoon sun, and set for alfresco dining once the light drops and the anchorage goes quiet. Her crew run the yacht in the manner these waters ask for — attentive, unhurried, familiar with the rhythm of long days spent between islands.
