HAPPY — Lagoon 55, cruising Greece A Lagoon 55 is a sailing catamaran built for people who want space without fuss. Wide beam, shallow draft, and the kind of level, stable platform that lets you cross the saloon with a full glass of wine still full — the practical advantages that keep bringing charter guests back to multihulls, particularly in the Greek islands where anchorages are shallow, sheltered and best reached without ceremony. HAPPY sleeps eight guests across four cabins: an owner's cabin plus three further cabins, each with a double bed. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. The layout follows catamaran logic — accommodation distributed through the hulls, so cabins sit apart from one another rather than stacked along a single corridor. Privacy comes as standard rather than as a compromise. Life on board happens outside, and Lagoon's design brief has always understood that. The cockpit opens directly onto the saloon, so the boundary between shaded lounging and interior comfort effectively disappears. Meals drift on for hours. Afternoons are spent moving between the shade and the sun, with a swim in between whenever the mood takes. Greece suits this yacht well. Short hops between islands, mornings underway, afternoons at anchor in a bay where the water shifts from navy to pale turquoise as the depth comes up. Cyclades if you want wind and character, the Ionian if you prefer gentler passages and green hillsides running down to the sea. The crew handles the navigation, the provisioning and the daily rhythm of the yacht, adjusting the itinerary to the weather and to how your week is actually unfolding — which is rarely how it looked on paper. That flexibility, more than any single feature, is what makes a crewed charter worth the difference.
