# MELITI — Lagoon 560 Some catamarans are designed to cross oceans. Others are built to make a week in the Cyclades feel effortless. Meliti does both, and that is precisely the point. ## Pedigree Behind this Lagoon 560 stand two names that carry real weight in the yachting world: VPLP, the naval architecture firm whose hulls have shaped modern multihull racing and cruising alike, and Nauta Design, brought in for the interiors and overall design language. The result is a bluewater catamaran with the volume of a much larger yacht and the manners of something considerably smaller. She completed a refit in 2024. ## Accommodation Four cabins, each with a queen-size bed, en-suite facilities and independent air conditioning. Eight guests, four heads — no compromises, no cabin that anyone has to be talked into. The symmetry of the layout matters more than it sounds: nobody draws the short straw. ## Life aboard The aft cockpit is where the day settles. Large enough for eight to dine without shuffling chairs, shaded, and open directly onto the saloon so the two spaces read as one. Inside, the saloon and galley are unusually generous for the length — glazing on all sides, sightlines straight through to the water, and enough counter space for the crew to work properly rather than improvise. Up on the flybridge, the lounging area is the natural gathering point at anchor: sun, breeze, and a view over the whole bay. It is also where the helm sits, which means the passage from one island to the next happens alongside you rather than somewhere out of sight. ## Crew and service Meliti charters fully crewed throughout Greece. The crew handle the navigation, the provisioning and the daily rhythm of the yacht — anchorages chosen for the wind of the day, tables set without being asked, and the kind of quiet anticipation that only comes from knowing these waters well. ## Cruising ground The Greek islands, from the Saronic and the Cyclades to the Ionian, depending on the season and your preferences. A catamaran of this draft opens up anchorages that deeper-keeled yachts simply cannot reach — the shallow bay behind the headland, the beach you can step onto rather than tender to.
