Provocateur A custom 165-foot motor yacht with exterior and interior design by Hot Lab Yachts & Design, Provocateur first launched in 2016 — and came out of a full interior and exterior refit, completed in 2023, effectively as a new yacht. The programme was overseen by designer Ozge Van in partnership with the B&I shipyard, and the result is a distinctly contemporary yacht rather than a lightly freshened one. Accommodation is for twelve guests across six en-suite cabins: the owner's cabin, three cabins with a double bed and two cabins with twin beds. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. What the refit added is what charter guests actually notice. There is a gym and a sauna aboard, and a swimming pool set forward on the bow — an unusual and genuinely social layout choice, well suited to long lunches at anchor and quiet mornings before the day begins. Aft, the reworked beach club puts guests at water level, where the transition from deck to sea takes no more than a step. Engine hours remain low, and the yacht splits her seasons between the Bahamas and the Mediterranean, two cruising grounds that ask different things of a yacht: shallow turquoise anchorages and long clear-water days on one side, headland-to-headland passages and evenings in port on the other. A permanent crew looks after the yacht and its guests, with service tailored to each charter well before boarding.
