MYTHOS

MYTHOS is a 17.10m (56ft) sailing yacht launched by Ocean Star in 2007 and refitted in 2020, cruising the Greek islands under sail at around 8 knots. Her layout is straightforward and well judged for a yacht of this size: four cabins, each with a double bed and en-suite facilities, accommodating eight guests. No compromise cabin, no shared heads — everyone aboard has the same standard, which matters over a week between the Cyclades and the Saronic. A crew of two runs the yacht, handling the sailing, the cooking and the day-to-day so that guests can simply choose the next anchorage. That crew-to-guest ratio suits families and groups of friends who want genuine sailing rather than a floating hotel: short passages between islands, lunch at anchor, dinner in a village port. Greece is her ground, and at 17 metres she goes where larger yachts hesitate — small harbours, tight bays, the kind of stops that make a Greek itinerary worth doing under sail.
