Drunken Sailor — Dufour 560 A Dufour 560 sailing the Greek islands, *Drunken Sailor* belongs to that generation of French cruising yachts built to sail properly rather than simply look the part. Dufour conceived the 560 as the yard's flagship, and it shows in the proportions: a genuinely wide beam carried well aft, generous freeboard, and volume below that rarely comes without a cost in performance. Here it does not. A refit completed in 2021 keeps the yacht current. Three cabins accommodate six guests. The owner's cabin takes a king-size bed; the two further cabins each have a double bed. Three heads serve the interior, which means no queuing in the morning — a small detail that quietly changes the tone of a week aboard. Light comes in from every angle below deck, and the saloon is one of those spaces where people naturally linger over a long lunch rather than passing through it. Life happens on deck. The cockpit is deep and properly shaded, wide enough for six around the table without anyone shuffling to let someone by, and the transom opens the yacht to the water when the anchor goes down in a Cycladic bay. Under sail she is composed and quick enough to make a passage between islands a pleasure in itself rather than a transfer. *Drunken Sailor* charters skippered or fully crewed. With a skipper, you keep the informality of a private sailing holiday and gain someone who knows the anchorages, the meltemi and the timing of the ports. Crewed, the sailing, provisioning and cooking are handled for you, and the day shapes itself around where you want to swim. A sensible, well-judged yacht for a family or a group of friends who want to actually sail Greece — not just be moored in it.
