## HAZE — 85' Extra Yachts, 2021 Some yachts announce themselves with volume. HAZE does it with light. Step into the main salon and the effect is immediate: panoramic windows down both sides, a glazed ceiling overhead, and the Mediterranean pouring in from every angle. It is the kind of interior that changes character with the hour — sharp and bright at midday, warm and low-lit as the sun drops behind the coastline. Launched by Extra Yachts in 2021, HAZE carries exterior lines by Francesco Guida — clean, unfussy, confident. The interior is the work of Lawson Robb together with Guida, a collaboration that won the "Interior Design under 40m" award, and the reasoning behind that recognition is easy to read once aboard: the spaces are organised around the view rather than in spite of it. At 86 GT across 85 feet, the yacht accommodates 8 guests in 4 cabins. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. The signature space sits aft. HAZE's beach club runs to some 50 square metres, opened up by a hydraulic swim platform that turns the stern into a genuine sea-level terrace — for long swims off the transom, for breakfast with your feet inches from the water, for the part of the day nobody wants to end. Up top, the flybridge offers generous seating and sun pads, the natural gathering point for sundowners once the anchor is down. Beneath the composure, the engineering holds up. The GRP hull is built for durability and low maintenance, and performance is more than adequate for the West Mediterranean programme: a comfortable 12-knot cruise with 21 knots available when a schedule tightens. Photovoltaic cells contribute to onboard power — a quiet, practical nod to reducing generator hours at anchor. A professional crew looks after the yacht and its guests throughout, handling the rhythm of the day so that decisions come down to which bay, and when. West Mediterranean cruising, with the Riviera, the Balearics and the Italian coast all within easy reach.
