## Sunreef 74 — Mallorca & the Balearics Sunreef built its name on large custom sailing catamarans, and the 74 shows why: a wide, calm platform that carries the volume of a much longer yacht without ever feeling heavy under sail. Along the coast of Mallorca, where the day tends to alternate between short passages and long anchorages, that combination is exactly the right tool. Accommodation Four cabins, each with a double bed and its own en-suite, accommodate eight guests. Independent climate control and generous storage in every cabin — the kind of detail that matters on a week aboard rather than an afternoon. Life aboard The panoramic saloon is the pivot point of the yacht: large windows on all sides, plenty of natural light, and a direct flow out to the aft cockpit, so the interior and exterior read as one living space rather than two. The cockpit itself is sized for proper meals in the open air, breakfast through dinner. Above, the flybridge opens up with a lounge area and sunpads, and the view that comes with height. Forward, a bow relaxation area is the place to be underway. Aft, the swim platform gives immediate, unfussy access to the water — which, in the Balearics, is where most of the day ends up being spent. Across the decks there are several separate corners to disappear into, whether for sun in the morning or a drink as the light drops. Under sail The multihull hull form does what it is meant to do: stable, quiet and efficient, with no heel to negotiate. Coastal cruising is unhurried, and island-hopping becomes a genuine option rather than an ordeal. The beam is what guests notice first and remember longest — the sense of space is difficult to find even on longer monohulls. Cruising grounds From Mallorca, the natural circuit takes in Cala Llamp, Cala Blanca, Portals Vells, Es Trenc, the Malgrats Islands and Dragonera. Cabrera is within reach for a day, and on multi-day or weekly charters the route can extend to Ibiza and Formentera, or east to Menorca. The crew handles the itinerary, the table and the timing, adjusting to how the week actually unfolds rather than to a fixed programme. Snorkelling gear and stand-up paddleboards are aboard for the anchorages where you simply won't want to leave.
