Calma — Sunreef 60, Balearic Islands Launched in September 2020, Calma is a Sunreef 60 sailing catamaran with a grey hull and 225 m² of living space — a figure that tells you most of what you need to know about how a modern performance catamaran of this size actually lives. Beam is what buys you comfort here, and Calma spends it well. Accommodation is unusually generous for a 60-footer: five cabins, each with a double bed and its own ensuite, for ten guests. No compromise berths, no cabin that feels like the one nobody wants — a genuinely useful layout for two families sailing together, or a group of couples who all expect the same standard of privacy. The saloon sits at the heart of the yacht, with soft lounging and dining areas and a galley-up arrangement that puts the chef in view rather than out of sight. Slide the saloon door open and the distinction between inside and out simply dissolves: the large sheltered aft deck on one side, the forward terrace on the other, both within a few steps of your coffee. It is the kind of circulation that changes how a day at anchor unfolds. Up on the flybridge, a BBQ, a wet bar and ample seating make the case for staying put well past sunset, with panoramic views over whichever Balearic bay you have chosen for the night. An experienced crew of three runs the yacht — attentive without hovering, and used to the rhythm of a charter week between Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera.
