Cruising the Adriatic — Croatia, Montenegro, Slovenia and the approaches to Venice — KARISMA makes a persuasive case for the well-proportioned yacht over the merely large one. Launched in 2008 and given a refit completed in 2023, she has been laid out with the kind of spatial intelligence that pays off day after day at anchor. The main deck and sundeck are the heart of her. Both offer the sort of open, uninterrupted volume you would normally expect a few metres further up the size range. Forward, a generous bow area is set up for sunbathing and slow afternoons; aft and above, the teak sundeck absorbs the whole rhythm of a charter day — breakfast in the shade, aperitifs as the light drops over the Dalmatian islands, dinner served al fresco with the coast still warm. Inside, the main deck gathers the living area, dining area, galley and pilothouse in a single considered sequence, finished with real attention to detail rather than display. Accommodation is on the lower deck: four en-suite cabins for eight guests, three with a double bed and a fourth arranged with twin beds — a configuration that works equally well for two families, a group of friends, or guests travelling with staff. A crew of four runs the yacht, which is the right number for this size: enough hands for attentive, unhurried service, few enough that the atmosphere on board stays private. For a week among the Kornati, the Bay of Kotor or the Venetian lagoon, KARISMA is a well-judged choice.
