NAYK 2 — 26m gulet, Turkey Launched in 2022 by a Turkish yard, NAYK 2 belongs to the newest generation of gulets: traditional lines, contemporary comfort, and the kind of easy layout that makes a week along the Turkish coast feel unhurried from the first morning. Accommodation is unusually consistent for a yacht of this size. Six cabins, each with a double bed, sleep twelve guests — no compromise cabin, no shorter straw for the last couple to board. It's a configuration that suits two or three families travelling together, or a group of friends who would rather not negotiate over who gets what. Life on board gravitates aft. The main deck aft brings together a seating area, the dining table and sunbathing mattresses, so breakfast, long lunches and the slow part of the afternoon all happen within a few steps of each other. Forward, a second seating group and more sun mattresses give you somewhere quieter to retreat with a book while the anchorage fills up. Inside, the salon is generously proportioned, with a comfortable seating group for the hours when shade or air conditioning is the better option. Under way, she cruises at 11 knots and reaches 14 at full speed — enough range in a day to move between the Gökova and Fethiye bays without turning the passage into the main event. A crew of five looks after the yacht and her guests: captain, cook, hostess and deckhands. Their brief is the quiet kind of service — meals timed to the day rather than the clock, cabins turned around while you're swimming, and the local knowledge that decides which cove to take at sunset.
