Mathieu, founder of BellaYacht Charter

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.

My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.

OKINAWA is a 2024 Fountaine Pajot catamaran of 18.78m, based in the British Virgin Islands — a yacht built for exactly the kind of cruising those islands invite: short hops between anchorages, shallow draft, and long hours spent at deck level rather than below. The layout carries ten guests across five cabins, each with a double bed and its own ensuite. That is an unusually even distribution for a catamaran of this size: no cabin is the compromise cabin, which makes OKINAWA equally straightforward for two families sharing a week or a group of couples travelling together. Life aboard a modern Fountaine Pajot happens outdoors. The width of the platform gives you a cockpit and a flybridge that function as genuine living spaces rather than passages, with the shade, seating and stability that monohull guests often notice immediately — a catamaran at anchor simply stays put, and meals, sleep and swimming all benefit from it. A crew of three looks after the yacht and its guests, handling navigation, cooking and service. On a BVI itinerary — the Baths, Anegada, Jost Van Dyke — that local knowledge shapes the week as much as the yacht itself: knowing which anchorage to take at which hour is the difference between a good charter and a seamless one.

Caribbean and Mediterranean experience

The crew brings extensive familiarity with the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, where more than three decades of sailing have been spent aboard yachts from 50 to 100 feet, on monohulls as well as multihulls. Several seasons have also been worked aboard catamarans in the Caribbean since 2020.
