Mathieu, founder of BellaYacht Charter

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.

My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.

ARCTIC — 88 metres of genuine expedition pedigree Few yachts can claim a beginning like hers. ARCTIC was launched in 1969 as an ice-class salvage tug, built for work rather than leisure, and spent her first decades earning that reputation. Her second life began when Australian billionaire Kerry Packer commissioned her conversion into what became the world's first true luxury expedition yacht — relaunched in 1994 as the largest converted explorer afloat at the time, and the vessel that effectively created the category. A refit completed in 2025 keeps her current. Industrial bones, refined interiors The conversion was intelligent rather than cosmetic: the ice-class hull and commercial-grade construction were left intact, while the interior volume was reworked into generous living areas with high-quality finishes throughout. What remains is unusual — a yacht that carries its working-vessel strength honestly and still delivers five-star comfort at anchor, thousands of miles from anywhere. Range that opens the map ARCTIC has cruised every ocean, and her long-range autonomy is the point of her. Antarctica, the Norwegian fjords, Papua New Guinea, the Pacific Islands — itineraries that most charter yachts simply cannot contemplate are routine for her. Accommodation Seven cabins host up to twelve guests. Detailed bed configuration available on request. Deck space measured in possibilities Her exterior areas rank among the largest in the charter fleet, and they are used flexibly rather than fixed in place. The heli-deck becomes an open-air dining room, a morning yoga platform, a cocktail deck or a dance floor beneath the stars, depending on the evening. Modular furnishings across all decks mean spaces can be reconfigured for a gathering of guests or reduced to a single lounger and a horizon. Inside, a private 4D cinema, a massage and wellness suite, a gym, a pool and a Jacuzzi sit alongside a series of indoor and outdoor lounges — enough variety that twelve guests never need share the same corner of the yacht. A crew that knows her ARCTIC spent decades cruising privately before coming to the charter market, and much of her crew has been aboard for that journey. Several heads of department count their service in decades rather than seasons. That continuity shows in the small things: the anticipation, the pacing of a day, the ability to make a remote anchorage feel entirely organised. Tenders, toys and expedition capability She carries the largest tender fleet on the charter market, supported by jet skis, kayaks and full dive equipment. A certified helipad and dedicated space for ROVs or submersibles extend her reach well beyond the waterline — all of it operated by a crew experienced in expedition work rather than improvising it.
