QUIXOTIC — Voyage Norseman 430 Built in South Africa to genuine open-ocean specification, QUIXOTIC is a Voyage Norseman 430 sailing catamaran — 43 feet of waterline with 25 feet of beam, a ratio that explains a great deal about how she behaves. Wide-stanced multihulls of this kind sail flat, and that stability is what turns a passage through the Fijian archipelago into something you actually enjoy rather than endure. She emerged from an extensive refit completed in 2018, and it shows in the way she is presented today. Her cruising ground is Fiji: reef passes, empty anchorages, water that shifts from indigo to pale jade as you close the shallows. Accommodation QUIXOTIC offers four cabins. Each is fitted with quality linens, reading lights, and USB and 12v outlets — the small practical details that matter over a week aboard. Ventilation is handled properly, with 12v turbo fans backing up the air conditioning. Three private heads serve the accommodation, each with flushing toilet, sink, mirror and a hot freshwater shower. Life aboard The aft deck and generous swim platforms are the heart of the yacht's day-to-day life. Boarding is straightforward from the tender or straight out of the water via the swim ladder, and there is a freshwater shower on the platform for rinsing off after a snorkel. That same aft deck is where you will want to be when something substantial takes the line — there is room to work a fish properly, which is not true of every catamaran this size. The galley is fully equipped, giving the chef what is needed to cook well aboard rather than simply assemble meals. A 120-litre-per-hour watermaker keeps fresh water plentiful — no rationing showers, no calculating tank levels before you commit to a remote anchorage. Crew and service QUIXOTIC is chartered with crew.
