HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH — Benetti Oasis 40, cruising Greece The Oasis 40 was conceived around a single idea: that a yacht should open onto the sea rather than merely look at it. HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH carries that thinking through with unusual conviction, and Greece — with its short hops, sheltered anchorages and long, warm evenings — is exactly the cruising ground the concept was made for. Below, five cabins accommodate ten guests: an owner's cabin, two VIP cabins and two cabins with twin beds. The owner's accommodation is the clear centrepiece, with a private balcony that folds out over the water and a his-and-hers bathroom. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. Throughout, the interiors are the work of Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture — restrained, contemporary, built on quiet materials rather than statement gestures, and all the more livable for it. The main deck salon sets the tone. Panoramic sliding glass doors to port, starboard and aft mean the room can be opened on three sides at once, and at anchor the distinction between inside and outside effectively disappears. Light and horizon do most of the decorating. Aft, the beach club is the yacht's signature: an infinity pool set at water level, with fold-down side wings that widen the platform into a genuine seaside terrace. It is the space guests gravitate to at the end of the afternoon and rarely leave. Elsewhere, deck areas are generous enough to keep sunbathing, lounging and alfresco dining comfortably separate — including a sundeck dining area seating up to twelve, with a large screen for those who like the match on while they eat. There is also an outdoor cinema for evenings under the stars, and a fully equipped gym on the main deck with Technogym machines and a yoga setup — a rare thing to find at this size, and one of the details that tells you the layout was thought through by people who actually cruise. Worth noting for owners of longer itineraries: she is notably economical on fuel for her volume, and carries a water filtration system producing drinking water on board — fewer plastic bottles, fewer resupply stops. Her crew looks after the yacht year-round and knows how to run a full boat without ever seeming to hurry — the kind of service that anticipates rather than asks.
