Built by Nautor Swan in 2023 to a demanding specification from an owner who clearly sails himself, the 108-foot PS5 PLAYSTATION belongs to the shipyard's maxi line — a hull engineered for genuine speed across a wide range of wind and sea states, not for the look of it. The result is a yacht that will hold a fast, satisfying angle when the breeze fills in, then hand her guests back to a saloon where nothing has been left rattling. That balance is the point of her. She carries nine guests in four cabins: an owner's cabin, a VIP cabin, a cabin with twin beds and an additional upper berth sleeping three, and a further cabin with twin beds. Below, the main saloon is unusually bright for a performance sailing yacht — the portlights are exceptionally generous, and the light they draw in changes the character of the space through the day. A separate, smaller lounge takes on the informal duties: board games in the afternoon, a film in the evening, the sort of room that gets used far more than anyone expects. A dedicated dining area allows proper meals to be served properly, at the table, without improvisation. The crew have their own quarters and a separate service entrance, which is the quiet mechanism behind good charter service: attentive when you want it, invisible when you don't. On deck, the swim platform is a standout feature, opening the yacht directly to the water at anchor, while the relaxation and dining areas topside are laid out with the same restraint found inside.
