Champagne Hippy is an Oyster 825 — and that name alone tells you a good deal. Oyster Yachts built their reputation on blue-water sailing yachts that reward the person at the helm without ever asking their guests to rough it, and this 25-metre is a clear expression of that thinking: a hull that wants to sail, wrapped around interiors finished with genuine joinery craftsmanship. She emerged from an extensive refit completed in 2023, which brought her systems, styling and finish up to current standards throughout. Accommodation is arranged across three cabins for six guests: two cabins with a double bed, and a third fitted with twin beds. Separate crew quarters keep the service side of life discreetly out of sight, so the guest areas stay entirely yours. Under sail she is at her best on the cruising grounds she knows well — Corsica and Sardinia, the coast off Marseille, the Balearics and the Italian shoreline. These are waters that suit a yacht like this: real passages between anchorages, then long quiet evenings on deck once the sails are stowed. Her crew handles the sailing, the provisioning and the daily rhythm on board, leaving guests free to decide how much of the passage they want to take part in — hands on a winch, or simply a seat to windward with the coast sliding past.
