CAPRICORN 1 — 27m Gulet The gulet remains one of the most convivial ways to cruise the Eastern Mediterranean, and CAPRICORN 1 makes a straightforward case for it: 27 metres of traditional hull, launched in 2008, brought back up to standard with a refit completed in 2018. Below deck, five cabins accommodate up to eleven guests — two owner's cabins and three further cabins fitted with twin beds. Detailed bed configuration is available on request, which makes her a practical choice for a family group or a mix of couples and friends travelling together. A crew of five runs the yacht. On a gulet of this size, that ratio is what matters most: it means the day unfolds without the guests having to organise it — meals served on deck, tenders in the water when you want them, anchorages chosen with local knowledge rather than guesswork. She charters in Greece and Turkey, a cruising ground that suits her temperament — short hops between islands, long lunches at anchor, and the kind of coastline best read slowly from a shaded aft deck.
